Getting Started with FinWallet

An overview of the platform, how wallets work, and what you can do.

What is FinWallet?

FinWallet is a digital eWallet platform that lets you hold, manage, and spend virtual balances issued through voucher and rewards programmes. Think of it as a secure digital wallet — you receive voucher codes, claim them into your wallet, and decide how to use your balance.

Your Wallet

Each wallet belongs to a programme — the organisation or scheme that issues the credit. For example, you might have a "FinWallet Internal (ZAR)" wallet for general rewards, or a branded programme wallet from a partner organisation.

You can hold multiple wallets if you participate in multiple programmes. Each wallet keeps its own balance independently.

What You Can Do

  • Claim vouchers — enter a voucher code to credit your wallet
  • Check your balance — view current balance and full transaction history
  • Transfer funds — move balance between compatible programme wallets
  • Cash out — convert your balance to airtime top-up or a new voucher code

How to Access FinWallet

FinWallet is accessed via the mobile app or directly through the API for system integrations. A white-label mobile application is currently in beta testing and will be available on App Store and Google Play once the beta phase is complete.
